Baby birds are cool
When I was 6 or 7 years old, I found a little baby bird that had fallen out
of his nest. The birdie was totally featherless and was probably no more than a
few days old when one of his siblings got "medievil on
him" and kicked him to
the curb. He hit the ground and died on the spot.
Again displaying my propensity to be a trouble maker, I took the little bugger
and dumped him into some guy's gas tank. I figured that the extra protein would improve
his fuel economy. Now that I think of it, I was ahead of my time--but a few years old and already
researching alternative fuel sources.
